Exceptional Morgan Productions Type A-2 reproduction from the Japanese brand, made from heavy horsehide leather. A beautifully constructed jacket with excellent overall craftsmanship, a superb deep dark-brown/black colour and an exceptional natural shine.
The horsehide is still relatively stiff, as expected from a new horsehide jacket. It has not yet been broken in and will develop beautiful creasing and character with wear.
The jacket is in brand-new condition, with absolutely no defects or signs of wear. The leather, stitching, hardware, rib-knit cuffs and waistband are all in excellent condition.
The jacket features a striking selection of NASA and space-program patches, including patches related to various American space missions and astronauts. Combined with the classic A-2 design including throat hooks and heavy horsehide, they give the jacket a distinctive aviation and space-history character.
