NO RESERVE PRICE - Manifattura tedesca - Hors d'oeuvre set - antipasti platter - Silverplated - Grapevine leaf motif

Splendid and elegant three-compartment serving dish, conceived as an antipasto platter or centerpiece in pure Jugendstil style (German Art Nouveau), made in Germany in the first decades of the 20th century.

This magnificent collectible piece expresses to the fullest the stylistic hallmark of the Belle Époque period, blending domestic functionality with an aesthetic sensibility deeply inspired by the organic shapes of nature.

The structure comprises three wide compartments shaped like grape leaves, molded with extraordinary care for botanical details.

Each leaf features a dense and realistic relief vein pattern that catches the light, creating chiaroscuro effects typical of antique silverwork. At the center of the tray stands a finely chased arched handle in the form of a winding grapevine tendril, which not only provides a solid ergonomic grip but also gives the whole piece a three-dimensional dynamism with a strong visual impact.

It lends itself magnificently as a refined decorative element, as an elegant antipasto tray for important dinners, or as a prestigious collectible catchall.
