619 AR - Military miniature figurine - Silver

Splendido cannone in miniatura interamente realizzato in argento 800, con punzoni ufficiali ben visibili: “800” (titolo dell’argento) e “619 AR”, marchio identificativo di un laboratorio artigianale registrato presso la Camera di Commercio di Arezzo, importante distretto orafo italiano.
This miniature, of exceptional workmanship, reproduces in a reduced scale a Prussian field cannon, plausibly inspired by a historical model produced by Krupp in the second half of the nineteenth century. The structure and the presence of a rear breech with a “Knebel” lever make it a refined reproduction of the famous breech-loading artillery pieces used from the late 19th century to the First World War.
