Description from the seller
In the photo is Krasnogorsk-3 (also known as K-3), iconic amateur 16 mm film camera, produced in the Soviet Union by Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant (KMZ) from 1971 to 1993. This model gained enormous popularity among film school students and independent creators due to its rugged construction and affordability.
Key features of the visible unit:
Lens: The camera is equipped with a characteristic bright zoom lens Meteor-5-1 with a focal length range of 17–69 mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.9. On the barrel are precise distance (focus) and aperture scales.
Drive: This is a fully mechanical device with a spring drive – it does not require batteries to advance the film itself. Winding the spring (with the appropriate key on the side of the body) allows about 25 seconds of continuous operation at standard speed.
Recording speed: It offers adjustment of frame rate from 8 to 48 frames per second (including the standard 24 fps) and a time-lapse (animation) mode.
Film power supply: Supports standard daylight spools of 30 meters (100 feet).
Markings: On the side of the body is the Zenit brand logo and the original Cyrillic inscription: КРАСНОГОРСК-3.
In the background of the photo there is a dedicated for this set, rigid transport case and film accessories.
