Limoges France – Fine Porcelain Tea Service for Two – 8 Pieces – Floral Garlands and Gilding – 1961–1963
Description
Elegant vintage Limoges France porcelain tea service for two, comprising 8 pieces in total:
* 2 cups
* 2 saucers
* 4 dessert / tea plates
The service is decorated throughout with exceptionally delicate floral garlands featuring pink roses, small blue and orange flowers, fine blue ribbon motifs and rich gilded borders.
The cups are especially refined, made of very thin, lightweight porcelain with elegant gilded handles. The entire ensemble has a graceful, light appearance and displays beautifully.
Six of the eight pieces are marked Limoges France. Two matching plates bear the Arzberg 323 mark. All eight pieces share the same coordinated decoration and form one complete and harmonious ensemble.
Several pieces bear handwritten names and dated inscriptions on the underside, including 1961 and “Weihnachten 1963”. These inscriptions are only visible on the reverse.
The service is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. The porcelain, floral decoration and gilding are very well preserved.
A beautiful and elegant early-1960s tea service with fine workmanship, delicate decoration and a particularly refined presentation.
