Description from the seller
An exquisite and romantic exemplar of German Art Deco silversmithing, this architectural cocktail ring is cast in solid 835 silver with fine antique oxidation accentuating its deep hand-carved relief. The elevated rectangular box bezel is richly adorned on all four gallery walls with scrolling acanthus leaves, pierced vents, and radiant sunburst fluting. Collet-set at the center is a scissor-cut rectangular gemstone of vivid ice-blue to sky-blue color (vintage synthetic blue spinel or aquamarine crystal), radiating glassy transparency, sharp step-cut geometry, and brilliant cerulean flashes. Stepped architectural shoulders feature engraved foliate palmettes that taper down to a polished shank crisply stamped with an authentic 835 silver purity hallmark and maker's cartouche.
