Magnificent set of two large decorative panels in cast iron, made after the works of the famous French artist Élisabeth Sonrel (1874-1953). These are iron cast objects, sturdy and with a high level of detail.
The lot includes the complete pair:
• "Fleurs des Eaux": Feminine allegory surrounded by irises and water lilies.
• "Fleurs de Montagne": Feminine allegory with a walking stick amid alpine flora.
• Material: 100% cast iron.
• Condition: Very lovely overall condition, superb antique patina with light signs of time that emphasize their authenticity.
• Dimensions: 54 cm (Length / Height) x 22 cm (Width).
• Weight: 3.4 kg per panel (total weight 6.8 kg for the lot).
