Description from the seller
A pendulum clock in the Amsterdam School style from the Art Deco period 1920-1930, in wonderful condition.
This version of the clock case is seen only rarely and was produced in small editions.
The symmetrical (a hallmark of Art Deco) clock case has an oval shape and features beautifully figured oak wood and is virtually in mint condition.
On the front are chrome decorative elements, and behind the dial the precious coromandel wood is used, also in the surround at the front.
The domed glass door has a chrome rim, and the sleek chrome hands are typically executed in Art Deco style.
The Kienzle high-quality movement has been cleaned and oiled where needed and runs perfectly, and the three-tone bim-bam strike has a very beautiful sound and can be heard every half and full hour, and can be silenced by a lever if desired.
This luxuriously appointed pendulum clock fits into any interior and is a true eye-catcher, and will be sent very carefully, including the key.
