Vintage vinyl turntable from the 1980s, Akai AP 005 functional, very good aesthetic appearance. Only suitable for manual use; the automatic mechanism is not functioning.

The big sister of the Akai AP-003 model benefits from a beautiful veneered wooden cabinet and a gorgeous brushed aluminum top. The condenser motor with external rotor (PAPST-type) offers unprecedented rotational stability. A high-quality and innovative Japanese production, both in terms of sound reproduction and appearance! because Akai turntables of this generation have a very successful design: the playing surface lies close to the table and a minimalism that we have only seen in contemporary Danish designs.

To deliver this product properly it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, wrapped in bubble wrap with plenty of cushioning material. We mainly use plastic as cushioning material, but if a different material is desired, please contact us. The package is shipped insured to protect both buyer and seller.
