Description from the seller
Canon FP + FL 50mm F1.4
Serial Numbers:
Camera: 116861
Lens: 169932
Thank you very much for viewing this classic Canon 35mm SLR set.
Introduced in October 1964, the Canon FP is a mechanical 35mm SLR developed alongside the Canon FX. Unlike the FX, the FP was designed without a built-in exposure meter, offering a straightforward photographic experience centered on manual exposure control and mechanical operation.
The included Canon FL 50mm F1.4 is a bright standard prime lens from the classic FL system. Its natural 50mm perspective is suitable for portraits, street photography, travel, and everyday scenes, while the bright F1.4 maximum aperture is useful in lower-light conditions and for creating a shallow depth of field.
Together, the FP and FL 50mm F1.4 form an attractive combination for photographers who enjoy the direct operation and character of early Canon SLR equipment.
■ Appearance
There are only minor signs of normal use and light surface wear.
Overall, the camera and lens remain clean and in good cosmetic condition.
Please check the photographs carefully for the detailed exterior condition.
■ Viewfinder / Optics
There is some dust or debris visible inside the viewfinder.
The FL 50mm F1.4 has some haze inside the optics.
During inspection, no noticeable effect on photography was observed from this haze.
■ Functional
The camera and lens are operating properly.
The main operating functions, including shutter operation, film advance, focusing, and aperture operation, have been checked.
No functional problems were found during inspection.
■ Included Items
Canon FP camera body
Canon FL 50mm F1.4 lens

Thank you very much for taking the time to view this Canon FP set.
The Canon FP represents an early period of Canon's 35mm SLR development and offers a deliberately simple, meterless shooting experience with direct mechanical controls.
The FL 50mm F1.4 complements the body with a bright standard focal length suitable for portraits, street photography, travel, everyday scenes, and available-light photography.
This example shows only minor exterior wear and remains clean overall. There is some debris in the viewfinder. The lens has some haze, but no noticeable effect on photography was observed during inspection.
The main operating functions have been checked, making this an appealing set both for practical classic-film photography and for collectors of early Canon SLR equipment.
