A unique opportunity for any collector of antique scientific instruments.
I am selling an exceptional and coherent lot centered around an antique brass microscope, accompanied by all of its accessories, prepared slides and preparation tools. This kind of especially complete ensemble is extremely rare to find today.
1. THE ANTIQUE BRASS MICROSCOPE
• Antique brass microscope, gold-colored, “draw tube” type
• Probably of French origin, late 19th / early 20th century
• Original wooden box with compartments
• Handwritten contemporary note indicating magnifications (22x, 32x, 77x)
OBJECTIVES & EYEPIECES
• Several interchangeable brass-colored objectives
• Several eyepieces of different magnifications
• Associated diaphragms and condensers
• Various mounts and rings
2. MICROSCOPIC PREPARATION TOOLS
• 1 hand microtome with adjustment wheel and disk (precision instrument for cutting ultra-thin tissue sections — rare and highly sought-after)
• 1fine dissection forceps
• 1 threaded metal adjustment rod
