This hand-knotted Tibet rug from Nepal shows a restrained field design with traditionally Asian-influenced ornaments. The largely unpatterned interior field has a lively, slightly marled color effect and gives the rug a calm and generous appearance.

The gold-beige interior field is framed by several borders in gray, brown, antique pink and muted green. Geometric meander lines, stylized cloud ornaments and curved symbols shape the decorative edge design. Individual pattern areas are embossed-like and give the surface a three-dimensional feel.

The subdued color scheme and clear design make the rug versatile to combine. Due to its generous format, it is excellent for large living and dining rooms, bedrooms or as a calm centerpiece of a classic as well as modern interior.
