A rare modernist lounge chair, designed by Pierre Thielen and produced in small quantities for the prestigious Dutch department store and design house Metz & Co. in the 1960s. This chair combines architectural precision in an elegant way with an organic, ergonomic seating form. The saddle leather seat was expertly renewed in the 1990s, leaving the leather still in perfect condition with a light patina. Een zeldzame modernistische loungestoel, ontworpen door Pierre Thielen en in kleine oplage geproduceerd voor het prestigieuze Nederlandse warenhuis en designhuis Metz & Co. in de jaren 60.Deze stoel combineert architectonische precisie op fraaie wijze met een organische, ergonomische zitvorm. De zadelleren zitting is in de jaren 90 vakkundig vernieuwd waardoor het leer nog in perfecte staat is met lichte patina.
