This unique lobster wall sconce was handmade by my grandfather, a blacksmith who worked in the heart of Piran, Slovenia, from 1954 to 1994. It reflects traditional blacksmithing techniques passed down through generations of Kropa blacksmiths. He drew much of his inspiration from the sea, incorporating marine motifs like sea animals, mermaides etc. All his work reflects the coastal spirit of the small port town of Piran.
