Collection of Practical Carpentry or New Practical Treatise of Modern Carpentry, published in Paris by the famous Charles Moreau Industrial and Furnishings Bookseller (Librairie industrielle et d'ameublement Charles Moreau) (circa 1920–1930).
Book features:
Format: It is a large portfolio/folio album (approximately 33 x 45 cm) generally including a rigid cardboard cover with laced ties on a cloth-backed spine.
Content:
A complete work of 200 plates of loose drawings, geometric sections, assembly details, and models of architecture or furniture.
Authors:
It is a collaborative work designed “with the collaboration of workshop chiefs and drawing professors.” It served as a technical reference guide for artisans, cabinetmakers and journeymen of the era.
