AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
A splendid quartz crystal of hematite-origin from the well-known Moroccan locality. The crystal, 70 mm long, is translucent and almost transparent, and features original and rare patches of red hematite, arranged randomly on the surface of the entire specimen. This phenomenon is not common, as usually the red color covers the crystals completely. A special and aesthetic specimen, photographed under intense light.
The specimen is photographed under intense professional lighting to best highlight details and color. Any slight variations in color tones depend on the settings of the device used and/or exposure to ambient or artificial light of different color temperatures.

Seller's Story
We have been collectors since 1972, present as exhibitors at the main mineral exhibitions in Italy and some European ones (Sainte-Marie-Aux-Mines, Monaco, etc.), where you can find us to get to know us in person, exchange opinions, talk about our beloved minerals and, should the auctions end close to an exhibition, deliver your samples directly.
All proposed minerals, unless otherwise specified, are photographed using a strong light source, to better show the colors and details of the sample.
If you buy multiple minerals in the same auction, we will ship them together and you will only pay the higher shipping costs.
