A solid 950‑silver round box from France (circa 1910–1920) by Janvier Quercia of Paris, with a gilt interior, a cover ornately featuring two doves on a blossoming branch, 5 cm diameter, 2 cm high, and a net weight of 44 g, fully hallmarked Minerve head 1 and J (oak leaf) Q.

Superior quality crafted early 20th century solid 950 silver round box with gilt interior
The cover finely ornate with two doves on a blossoming branch
Fully hallmarked on cover and body Minerve head 1 for 950 silver together with Janvier Quercia silversmith's mark "J (an oak leaf) Q"
Janvier Quercia was awarded the Silver Medal at the 1904 Paris exhibition and the gold medal at the 1922 Canada exhibition (see period advertisements not included in the sale)

Condition report:
In clean fine circa 110 years old original condition, perfectly closing - great patina, minor scratches and dings, dark spots inside - no repairs, no cracks, as you can see in pictures that are part of the description
