The lid consists of a beautifully polished onyx slab with finely flowing, concentric banding in various blue, gray, cream, and warm brown tones, giving the stone a fascinating natural depth. In the center, a light, natural mineral area creates an exciting contrast to the colored onyx layers. The solid body shows a deep-dark, almost black rock structure, traversed by numerous natural gold- to silver-tonish inclusions and inserts, which shimmer strikingly under different lighting angles.
