Complete Belgian edition Journal de Tintin for the year 1954, 52 issues in very good condition, including two covers by Hergé and early material from Tibet and the Tournesol affair plus the 1955 calendar, all items free of tears with very good edge wear; some issues were folded for mailing and most Tintin features are cleanly cut.
Description from the seller
Complete set of the 52 Tintin fascicles (Belgian edition) for the year 1954 - with some magnificent covers including 2 by Hergé.
From Hergé, there is "The Valley of Cobras" (with the Maharaja of Gopal who evokes a caricature of a powerful current) + the beginning (the last 2 issues) of the Tournesol affair.
Beginnings of Tibet with the Petitoux family, Pat Rick and Mass Tick + numerous advertising drawings.
Very complete with the magnificent 1955 calendar (the seasons).
No tears and very good edge condition (see scan).
All the fascicles are still in very good conservation condition for their age (rare to find them in this state).
As for defects:
Some fascicles were originally folded in three because mailed by post to subscribers (see photos).
A majority of the Tintin points are cut very cleanly.
Some crossword puzzles or contest answers done very neatly.
