AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Alessi limited edition R Red Bowl Sarrià 90084 designed by Lluis Clotet in 2000. Round steel basket in coloured red epoxy resin.
Diameter: 27.5 cm
Height: 6.5 cm
In very good condition, see photo's.
The design of Sarrià basket is reminiscent of a scrunched up piece of paper and is an example of the informal language typical of the objects designed by Lluís Clotet for Alessi. The Catalan architect belongs to a group of designers that seek to contradict the perfection of form, which is seen as distant from the thoughts and hands of man. Sarrià is constructed from uneven surfaces, rich in unpredictable reflections.
