Description from the seller
This antique oil lamp consists of an intensely turquoise blue molded glass base and a clear glass chimney. The glass body features a geometric relief pattern characteristic of its manufacture. On the brass burner wheel, the French inscription “BREVETÉ” is visible, attesting to its French technical design, developed in the late nineteenth century or the very early twentieth century, precisely between 1890 and 1910. No other specific markings are visible under the glass base. The overall piece has a total height of 50 cm, a maximum diameter of 12.5 cm, and a total weight of 1250 g. The item is offered in very good overall condition, with the structural blue glass containing small air bubbles from the production process that bear witness to its artisanal manufacturing method.
