Kazak Rug - Origin: Caucasus (Armenia / Azerbaijan / Georgia)
Style: tribal, geometric
Manufacturing: hand-knotted wool
Style: tribal, geometric/ stylized flowers and stars - wide colorful floral border, succession of cruciform medallions (very typical Kazak)
Colors: deep red, indigo blue, ivory → classic Kazak palette
Color variations (Abraches) Authentic Caucasian Kazak-type rug, hand-knotted in wool, from the Caucasus regions.
This rug is distinguished by a typical geometric composition, with a succession of large cruciform medallions on a dark background, surrounded by stylized floral motifs and a rich multicolored border. The deep colors (reds, blues, ivory) testify to the artisanal tradition of Kazak rugs. Ancient tribal work, with a powerful and decorative design, characteristic of Caucasian productions.
