This exceptional set of spheres combines three characterful natural materials in completely different colors and structures into a particularly decorative collection: moss agate, septarian nodules, and Bumblebee jasper. Each of the three carefully polished spheres has its own unmistakable pattern, making the set a true eye-catcher. The moss agate impresses with a white to milky base and fascinating moss-like, branching green inclusions; mineralogically, it is a variegation of chalcedony or microcrystalline quartz. The septarian sphere displays an exciting, naturally formed network of light and darker areas that gives the surface a vivid, earth-history look. The trio is completed by the extraordinary Bumblebee jasper sphere, whose warm golden-yellow, orange-brown, and dark patterns create a particularly contrasting and intense effect. The trade name “Bumblebee jasper” is a traditional designation for this characteristic, predominantly calcite-containing material and should not be equated with classic quartz jasper. All three spheres are finely polished, so the individual patterns and color gradients come into especially strong relief.
