Lapis lazuli beads with pyrite, fayence, quartz and Ancient Egyptian ceramic, set on silk thread and linked into an adjustable bracelet plated with 18Kt gold.
In Ancient Egypt lapis lazuli was a stone of incalculable value associated with the heavens, royalty and divinity, due to its intense deep blue color impregnated with flecks of pyrite that recalled the stars.
