Scandyna Micropod SE passive design speakers in black finish (set of 2), technically 100% in working order and visually in good condition. A globally recognized design classic, originally designed under the Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) banner by designer Simon Ghahary.
The Micropod is known for its striking organic, rounded form. This round ABS enclosure is not only an aesthetic statement, but serves an important acoustical purpose: it eliminates internal standing waves and cabinet resonances, resulting in an unusually open, transparent and coloration-free sound image.
Despite the compact size, these passive monitors are equipped with serious hi-fi components: a woven yellow Kevlar cone for mid and bass, paired with a high-quality soft-dome tweeter for detailed, smooth treble extension. They are easy to drive with any standard stereo amplifier, receiver or compact mini-system.
The set has been exhaustively tested, the edge rims and tweeters are in excellent condition and deliver a surprisingly mature and spacious stereo image.
