Sony TC-K630ES high-end 3-head stereo cassette deck in black, from Sony’s renowned audiofile ES (Elevated Standard) series (circa 1989–1990). Technically in 100% fully functional condition (play, record and fast forward/rewind work perfectly) and visually in nice condition with light signs of use in line with age.
Thanks to the discrete 3-head design with durable Laser Amorphous heads, direct NAB tape monitoring during recording is possible. The transport features three motors and a quiet, motorized cassette-loading mechanism. Sonically, the K630ES delivers a very tight, dynamic and detailed playback with an unusually quiet background. Equipped with manual bias calibration, Dolby B/C noise reduction and Dolby HX Pro headroom boost to extract the maximum from every tape.
