Description from the seller
Akai GXC-709D vintage stereo cassette deck, built in the late 1970s (circa 1978–1980) in Japan. Technically in 100% good working condition (reels, play and record function properly) and visually in neat vintage condition with light signs of use appropriate for its age.
This model is renowned for the famous wear-resistant Akai GX head (Glass & X’Tal Ferrite Head), guaranteeing an exceptionally long service life and clear, detailed signal transfer. At the front, the two large, atmospherically illuminated analog VU meters and the sturdy mechanical piano-style keys are immediately noticeable. In terms of sound, the GXC-709D delivers a warm, full, and dynamic analog tape playback, aided by Dolby-B noise reduction and a tape-type selector including Fe-Cr support.
