Ex voto (2) - Silverplated - 1850-1900 - Votive Offering of the Giovinetti

Ex Voto depicting a young woman and a child. The woman's dress is richly decorated and very well made, while the child is presented almost as a Christ. The workmanship, the proportions and the features of the two objects indicate a date between the late 1800s and early 1900s. It is not entirely clear whether the objects are silver-plated or entirely silver in sheet. The little lady shows a few stains on the dress at the edge of the skirt, signs of age.
