Seikosha Co., Ltd., Japan, MC-120 industrial wall clock, originally a DC 24V slave clock now battery‑powered quartz, 22 × 22 × 7 cm, 1.5 kg, metal light‑green housing with a cream dial, large black numerals and red second hand, in good vintage condition with minor patina.
Description from the seller
Original vintage Seiko / Seikosha industrial wall clock from Japan, dating from July 1980. This clock was originally manufactured by Seikosha Co., Ltd. as a professional 24V slave clock, intended to be connected to a central master clock. The original factory label is still present and lists MC-120 – DC 24V – 12mA – Slave Clock. Also the original inspection sticker with JUL. 1980 has been preserved.
The clock was later converted to a modern battery-powered quartz movement, so today it can be used as a standalone wall clock and no longer requires a 24V master clock.
Particularly beautiful is the original light-green metal housing combined with the cream-colored dial, large black numerals, and red second hand. The case has a light patina and normal signs of wear fitting for an industrial clock of over 45 years old. These have been intentionally preserved and contribute to the authentic character.
The clock presents very well and is fully recognizable as an original Seiko/Seikosha industrial clock from this period. The original labels on the back also form a nice documentation of model, variant, and dating.
