Important Italian solid wood chaise longue (méridienne) finely carved, made in the Carlo X style and datable to the second half of the 19th century.
The piece is characterized by an elegant framework with a shaped back and rich sculptural decoration, enriched by large volutes and refined carved zoomorphic elements, which confer a notable aesthetic impact to the whole.
The seat is upholstered in a multicolored striped fabric, well preserved and harmoniously integrated into the overall composition. The structure is solid and stable.
This is a piece with striking presence, suitable for both classical settings and eclectic or contemporary interiors, ideal for living rooms, boutique professional studios, hotels, or historic homes.
