Ryan McGinley was born in 1977 in New York; he quickly gained recognition in the art world as a great talent. His work is now included in major museums around the world.

McGinley has managed to capture the adventures of his generation of urban youths, but without the dark side that other photographers showcased for him. His young subjects enjoy life. This led to the now legendary road trips during hot summers.
