PCP 80 – Professional 6×6 medium format projector in very good condition, tested and working, with original box and documentation.
Description from the seller
A particularly beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find specimen of the legendary Hasselblad PCP 80, the professional medium-format projector that was manufactured by Zeiss Ikon in West Germany for Victor Hasselblad AB.
The PCP 80 was developed for photographers who demanded the same exceptionally high standards of projection as they did of their Hasselblad cameras. The system is specifically designed for 6×6 cm medium-format slides and ranks among the most impressive professional projectors from the analogue Hasselblad era.
One of its most remarkable features is the built-in Perspective Control system. PCP stands for Perspective Control Projector: with this, the projected image can be moved up or down while preserving the image geometry. A technically very advanced construction that clearly distinguishes this projector from conventional slide projectors.
This specimen is in excellent condition and is offered with the original Hasselblad packaging, power cable, documentation, and a French original manual. The photos are part of the description and show a good impression of the exceptionally well-maintained condition of the whole.
Note: this lot concerns the PCP 80 projector body without a projection objective.
The corresponding original Hasselblad rotary magazines / round diamagazines for the PCP80 system are offered separately in another lot. A rotary magazine can accommodate as many as 80 6x6 slides.
A beautiful object for the Hasselblad collector, collector of professional photographic equipment, or an enthusiast of high-quality analogue projection technology. Thanks to the original box, documentation, and very fine condition, it is also an attractive piece for a collection.
Carefully packed and shipped insured.
