Description from the seller
Holmegaard – Jacob E. Bang – ‘Kluk Kluk’ Carafe
Iconic ‘Kluk Kluk’ carafe from Holmegaard, designed by the Danish designer Jacob Eiler Bang (1899–1965). This model is among Bang's best-known designs for Holmegaard and is a beloved piece within Danish vintage glass design. The Bang rendition of the Kluk Kluk was produced from 1928. SAD Gallery
The name ‘Kluk Kluk’ refers to the characteristic sound that arises when the carafe is poured. The distinctive construction of the bottle ensures that the liquid emerges in a rhythmic motion. The design is related to the much older European Kuttrolf type, a form that has been known for centuries. SAD Gallery
