Description
We present an interesting fossil mosasaurid tooth, originating from Morocco and preserved in its fossil matrix.
Mosasaurids were large marine predatory reptiles that lived during the Late Cretaceous and dominated the seas of that era. The specimen shows attractive natural preservation, with beige, cream and brown tones, as well as a marked mineralized structure that gives it a very characteristic appearance.
