Imari porcelain teapot from China. Decorated in underglaze blue, iron red, and gold. On both sides of the spout, a fan-shaped panel, bordered in blue, depicts a drooping plum branch on which a bird is perched. Under the spout, near the handle, a small circular medallion, bordered in blue, is adorned with a plum blossom. On each side of the fan-shaped panel, two peach and peony plants are decorated in iron red and gold. Two rosettes of arabesques in iron red adorn the neck.

Condition: probably the lid, not original.
