Magnificent Keichousaurus hui complete, marine reptile from the Middle Triassic Anisian 240 Ma, Falang Formation, Guanling, Guizhou Province, China.
Exceptional dimensions for the species:
Animal 24 cm from snout to tail tip, measured at about one meter
Thorax width 3 cm side by side, robust adult mature male specimen
Plate 25 x 12 cm, thickness 1.5 cm, weight 1-1.5 kg
Maximum size of the species 30 cm, this one 24 cm = large adult
Quality and authenticity:
Dorsal view, articulated complete skeleton
Skull with orbits clearly visible, complete vertebral column, ribs pachyostotic thickened in relief 3D natural, no painting
Forelimbs with enlarged ulna characteristic of the species, hindlimbs complete with 5 digits and articulated phalanges
Tail complete to the tip
3D relief of 2-3 mm visible on profile photos under grazing light
Natural geological fissures crossing the matrix AND the bones, proof of authenticity
