Poliarte - Wall lamp - Brutalist wall lamp with 3 lights - Murano glass, Wrought iron

Splendid and imposing wall sconce in a distinctly Brutalist style, designed by the famous designer and master of art Albano Poli for the renowned Italian manufactory Poliarte during the 1970s. This lamp-sculpture perfectly embodies the union between the strength of industrial materials and the refinement of the Venetian glassmaking tradition. The supporting structure is entirely handmade in wrought iron, composed of a geometric mosaic of offset and heat-textured slats. On the base are mounted three massive, heavy square diffusion diffusers in blown Murano glass, characterized by a rough ice-like surface rich in internal air bubbles, an unmistakable hallmark of the artisanal craftsmanship of the era. At the center of each block of glass stands out an elegant vertical chromatic inclusion in amber/orange color.
