Description from the seller

This set of tableware, produced by the Tirscherreutm porcelain factory, is an exemplary instance of Bavarian porcelain craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.

Made of high-quality translucent white porcelain, often referred in the trade as "White Gold" for its purity and delicate resonance.

The floral pattern and the 24kt gold pierced Greek key

It consists of finely detailed hand-painted bouquets, often with a central rose surrounded by wildflowers and smaller foliage.

The pieces show Rococo Revival influences, seen in the scalloped edges and the fine basket relief (ozier) or "Rose Relief" embossing along the edges.

Many items are finished with a delicate gold edge or "Dresden edge," adding a layer of formal elegance and highlighting the rhythmic, scalloped borders.

This specific style remains highly collectible thanks to its fusion of the traditional European floral aesthetic of the 18th century with the refined production standards of German manufacturing in the 20th century.
