By combining the complete SC-Project Conic Inox line with the SC-Project AFM ECU (Air Fuel Module) in your 2015 Yamaha MT-09, the bike’s behavior changes dramatically. As it uses a three-cylinder (CP3) Euro 3 engine, it responds incredibly well to these modifications.

Here are the main improvements you would notice:

Engine Performance and Response

* Power and torque increase: The full exhaust optimizes exhaust gas exit, translating into a gain of approximately 3 to 4 HP of maximum power. You’ll notice it especially in the mid to high RPM range.

* Optimized injection (Thanks to AFM): With the full exhaust, the bike tends to run a bit lean. The AFM ECU modifies the intake air temperature sensor signal so the original ECU injects more fuel. This eliminates rough low-rev stumbles and power dips.

* More linear throttle response: The engine responds more immediately and smoothly when you roll on the throttle exiting corners. Additionally, AFM significantly reduces excessive popping (retentions) when you release the throttle, protecting the valves.

Dynamics and Riding

* Greater agility: As noted, you remove 4.4 kg from the lower part of the bike. By reducing unsprung mass, you’ll notice the MT-09 is much quicker and lighter in sequence of cornering.
* Less engine braking: Being a more open system than stock, the engine braking decreases slightly. The bike flows better when you release the throttle.

Sound and Aesthetics

* Pure triple-cylinder sound: The Conic exhaust transforms the factory flat whine into a deep, throaty, very sporty roar, characteristic of Yamaha’s three cylinders.
* Clean aesthetics: The stainless steel cone design gives a much more aggressive and sleek race-inspired look than the oversized stock silencer.
