An elegant living room set consisting of a three-seat sofa and a matching pair of armchairs, featuring a rich carved wooden framework and refined upholstery in antique powder-pink velvet, with capitonné-stitched backs.

The lounge nods to Louis XV and Rococo Revival style, reinterpreted through mid-20th-century furniture production. The sinuous forms of the frame, the carved elements, and the richness of the padding create a particularly scenographic ensemble.

The frame is made of solid carved and shaped wood, finished in warm walnut tones. The upper profile of the sofa and armchairs features a central carved crest with volutes and vegetal motifs, echoed in the other elements of the structure.

Particularly beautiful are the armrests, padded and covered in velvet on the upper part and supported at the front by sinuous, carved wooden elements. The front legs, moved and richly shaped according to the Rococo taste, visually extend the design of the armrests.

The backrest padding is crafted with deep capitonné work, Chesterfield-inspired, while the sofa and armchairs retain large separate seat cushions with coordinated edges.

The upholstery is in powder-pink velvet, a warm and slightly powdery hue that naturally varies with the direction of the nap and the incidence of light. Outdoor photographs may therefore show more vivid tones than the actual color, which is more accurately represented by the images of the armchairs.

A row of aged-bronze metal studs finishes the perimeter of the padding and emphasizes the sinuous lines of the wooden frame.

The sofa features a substantial continuous capitonné backrest, three independent cushions, and a width of about 200 cm, making it particularly dramatic even as a standalone piece.
