Description from the seller
Sensational Art Deco-era chandelier by Boris Lacroix dating to around 1925/1930. Jean-Boris Lacroix, (1902–1984) was a prominent French designer and interior architect, known for his extraordinary lamp objects. The opal glass, comparable to glass-cut works by Lalique and other artists of the time, bears his monogram LA+ (L/A or Lacroix monogram with a cross), see detail photos and an excerpt from the original lamp catalog with very similar lamp models. The lamp is a stylistically defining example of the Art Deco era and the craftsmanship of its time. All parts of the lamp are guaranteed to be original and assembled as such; it is guaranteed to be an authentic lamp. The stylized birds appear on the glasses and the silver-plated bronze mount. When illuminated, the bluish glasses glow from amber toopal colors. The electrification has been professionally renewed; the five-armed mount and glasses are in very good condition. Wonderful Art Deco–typical details and geometries. Indirect lighting to the ceiling with three additional light points. Original bayonet fittings in good condition; the lamp can be fitted with LED B22 bulbs from the trade. Very secure shipping in a doubly padded carton, insured, with separate packaging for each individual glass. Shipping within the European Union. For shipments outside the European Union, an additional approx. €100 is required for customs clearance documents.

Overall diameter: 85 cm
Diameter of indirect lighting shade: 29 cm
