Description from the seller

Natural Purple Spinel Crystal Specimen on Matrix – Badakhshan, Afghanistan

A beautiful natural Spinel crystal specimen from the Badakhshan mines of Afghanistan, weighing 389 grams and measuring approximately 77 × 75 × 60 mm.

The front face of the specimen is naturally covered with several purple Spinel crystals, creating an attractive crystal cluster on the matrix. The crystals show natural purple colour, good transparency, well-developed terminations and an excellent lustre, making the specimen particularly appealing for mineral collectors.

The crystals are naturally attached to the matrix and, according to the seller, are without damage, repair or restoration. The matrix has a distinctive mica-rich appearance, adding contrast to the purple Spinel crystals and giving the specimen an interesting natural formation.
NOTE>this specimen of purple color spinal is florescent means it changes the color under UV light and the photo is also uploaded here which can be seen.

The combination of multiple terminated Spinel crystals, natural purple colour, transparency, lustre and an attractive matrix makes this a striking collector's specimen. It is also self-standing, making it suitable for display in a mineral collection, home or office.
