Description from the seller
Mamiya-6 + Sekor S 7.5cm F3.5
Serial Number:
60897
Thank you very much for viewing this classic Mamiya medium-format folding camera.
The Mamiya-6 is a 120-film folding rangefinder camera designed around the 6×6 medium-format system. A distinctive feature of the Mamiya-6 series is its back-focusing mechanism, which achieves focus by moving the film plane rather than moving the lens itself.
The fixed Sekor S 7.5cm F3.5 provides a natural standard perspective for the 6×6 format, making it suitable for portraits, travel, street scenes, landscapes, and general photography. Combined with the folding body, it offers the large negative of medium format in a camera that can be collapsed into a relatively compact form for carrying.
■ Appearance
There are only minor signs of normal use and light surface wear.
Considering its age, the camera remains clean overall and is in very good cosmetic condition.
Please check the photographs carefully for the detailed exterior condition.
■ Viewfinder / Optics
The viewfinder shows some fungus and haze due to age.
The Sekor S 7.5cm F3.5 lens has a small amount of fungus. During inspection, no noticeable effect on photography was observed, and the remaining optical surfaces are clear overall.
■ Functional
A series of basic operating functions has been checked.
The shutter, focusing mechanism, aperture operation, and other basic functions were operating properly during inspection.

Thank you very much for taking the time to view this classic Mamiya-6.
Its folding construction, 6×6 medium-format negative, coupled rangefinder, and unusual back-focusing system make the Mamiya-6 a particularly distinctive Japanese camera design.
The 75mm F3.5 Sekor S provides a versatile standard perspective, while the folding body makes the camera considerably easier to carry than many rigid-body medium-format cameras.
This example shows only minor exterior wear and remains clean overall. The finder has some age-related fungus and haze, while the lens has a small amount of fungus that showed no noticeable effect on photography during inspection.
The basic operating functions have also been checked, making this an interesting camera for both practical medium-format photography and collectors of classic Japanese folding cameras.
