AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

From our personal collection, or more precisely from my late father’s collection, here is a beautiful, and in size rare cartel clock - France, from our personal collection!!
Approximately 45 cm tall, and 25 cm wide! Movement intact.
Hand-painted with flowers, grasses and dragonflies - very, very beautiful gilded decorative elements - porcelain dial outer bezel-
On the lid axis inside the glass there is a chip about 1.5 cm long; in a photo you can see a thin black line as a reflection from the chip, which, however, is not visible when the clock is hung.

Eugène Farcot worked in Paris, France and founded his manufactory around 1870.
Location & Time: Eugène Farcot worked in Paris, France and founded his manufactory around 1870.
Special feature: He was one of the best-known French manufacturers of large clocks and the so-called Mysterieuses (clocks with a “mysterious,” seemingly invisible movement). The anchor in the logo is a direct allusion to his inventions and patents in the area of special clock escapements.

Thank you
