Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Limited and numbered edition of Après Tintin en Amerique, one item, in TTB (Très Très Beau) condition, published by Tintinabulles in 2020, by Hergé.
Description from the seller
Since its creation in 1929 in the pages of Le Petit Vingtième, Tintin's fame has continued to spread worldwide. The little reporter born from Hergé's imagination has become a timeless and universal myth. The Adventures of Tintin consist of only 24 albums, but they have generated hundreds of books, studies and articles devoted to the sources and influences of their creator. Curiously, few authors have looked into the “extensions” of his work.
Today, the Adventures of Tintin are embedded in people's minds, practically everywhere on the planet, to the point of forming a genuine quasi-universal popular mythology. The reader immediately knows which album the slightest image, allusion or Tintin-esque quotation refers to, and what interpretation to give it in the context of its use.
The present work aims to sketch a (non-exhaustive) tableau of the main real or imaginary extensions of Hergé's album, from parody to political or social caricature, including homage or the simple wink.
