Decorative and practical vintage sewing basket, made in light rattan with a beautifully woven outer surface of plastic wicker. The basket rests on slender wooden legs and is equipped with a large, fixed handle, making it easy to move.

The round lid is lined with cheerful fabric featuring floral and bird motifs and also forms a soft seat- or work surface. Under the lid there is a spacious, plastic-lined interior for neatly storing sewing notions, yarn, handicraft supplies or other small objects.

A charming and functional piece from the second half of the 20th century, suitable in a retro, bohemian or country interior.
