Description from the seller

Muller Frères Lunéville – Lamp / Table Lamp Art Deco – Forged Iron – Signed Mottled Art Glass – France, c.1925

Elegant French Art Deco table lamp by Müller Frères Lunéville, circa 1925, combining an architectural wrought-iron frame with a remarkable signed Muller Frères Lunéville mottled art glass tulip.

The mounting features a balanced geometric composition, punctuated by hammered hexagonal elements and a stylised botanical decoration in wrought iron on the circular base.

The flared tulip shade, with a wavy rim, offers a beautiful cream-white, pink and orange gradient, with a clouded and speckled pattern characteristic of French art glass of the interwar period. A particularly warm luminous effect when illuminated.

Beautiful original aged patina on the wrought iron, deliberately preserved. Natural signs of age and use are visible in the photographs.

Dimensions: H. 25 cm – max width 20 cm – base Ø 13 cm – shade H. 13 × W. 11 cm.
Weight: mount 517 g – shade 246 g – total approx. 763 g.
Estimated period: France, circa 1925–1930.
