Elongated conical glass flask from the Roman Empire, dating to the 3rd–4th century AD, made of pale blue‑green translucent glass, 122 × 23 × 23 mm, authentic original in excellent condition, acquired from a gallery/antiquaire in the Netherlands (Maastricht) with provenance from that collection, includes a certificate of authenticity and export licence.
Description from the seller
Small translucent pale bluish-green glass bottle, blown on the spot, with an elongated conical body and a rounded base. It is topped by a long cylindrical neck narrowing toward the top and ending with a flared mouth whose edge, lipped, is irregularly folded inward. The base bears the pontil mark, accompanied by a small nick that may result from its removal or from later damage. The glass retains some iridescence traces as well as light earthy deposits.
