Description from the seller

Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta 1954

Beautiful lithograph / art print of Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta 1954

The A6GCS Berlinetta, styled by Pininfarina, was one of the most beautiful Maseratis and its racing heritage was surpassed only by its flowing lines and learned proportions. Under the skin of this car lies a race chassis built by Gilco intended for events such as the prestigious Mille Miglia.

The A6GCS chassis was derived from the A6 Sportscar and was powered by a short-stroke, double-ignition, inline-6, one of the last units designed before their departure by the Maserati brothers. Initially developed for Formula 2, the A6 could rev up to 7300 rpm and produce 170 hp.
