Description from the seller

Circa the 1840s, Baccarat, France. This antique Baccarat water goblet is perfect for water or wine. The pattern is Empire and the look is that of the Baroque revival or the French decorative movement of the Second Empire. Made in cobalt-cut crystal with superb gold detailing, this glass is particularly rare because it features a double knop on the stem instead of the usual single knop. As a result, it also has extra height. Superbly crafted, it is in excellent condition and a very rare object.
